• Open door ....

  chase cats.

  You know the song "I fought the law and the law won" ?

  My song today has been "I fought the cats and the cats won." 

  The minute the door opens my two outdoor cats zip through it and are under a couch or skulking under the table.  They are determined to be indoor cats.

  My indoor cat isn't real happy about this turn of events.

  I may end up with three indoor cats by default.  One of these days I'm not going to be able to chase them down.  Right now I can trick them into coming out from wherever they are with a "here kitty kitty kitty" and a bowl of food.  The size of these elephant cats explains the effectiveness of this method.
