• New Post

  I have been absent I know. Just not in any sort of blogging mood. I also have been on a media "fast" lately where I have not consumed, listened, watched, or read any media/new in six weeks. It has been glorious. I thought I would be out of touch and struggle with lack of input but I am finding the silence to be golden. I do allow myself one opinion/commentary blog but refuse to click through to any links so I have an idea of what is happening in the world but instead of getting upset or obsessing I just let it go. I see a vew articles on Facebook and read one ot two but find myself skimming or ignoring a lot. Other than voting in the fall I'm not sure I can make much difference anyway. Wow, what a change from the last political season right? I've decided only prayer will get through to some people's minds anyway, not my blogging.

  It actually has made life more pleasant. I highly recommend it.
