  • Telluride, Colorado

I am in Telluride, Colorado.  I always remember the story that my dad told of how they would announce the city on the train as "to-hell-you-ride" and have to say that last night I felt as though I was in hell.  Thanks to my sister she reminded me it's not hell, it's just Babylon.  And thanks to her wise words and encouragement today was good and I feel better prepared for the rest of this trip.  I am thankful for someone who encourages me in God and listens to me cry.

  • Hang in there!  Just think -- when you get back, we get to measure windows, pick out blinds, and have lunch!  Whoo hoo!   :D

  • I was in Telluride a couple of years ago, with my husband, who had a meeting there.  They arrange the meeting hours around the best daytime ski hours!  My husband and daughter went skiing/snowboarding.  It was a beautiful area, but I struggled to breath in that altitude the entire time.  Couldn't really even sleep at night, and then I had to practically be in a sitting up position.  Not planning a trip there anytime soon!

  • Hang in there!!! What a call you guys have on your life to be in the thick of this battle! Not envious, but very thankful that you are there and making a difference. You may not think so, but you ARE, and everyone is watching. You will be a safe place in days ahead. Just watch and see!
